#WuTsang (1982 – ): A filmmaker, artist, and performer based in both #NewYork and #Berlin, Tsang works in exploring the lives of marginalized communities and “hidden histories,” as well as in how movement can express emotional experiences that cannot be described with language. She seeks to express that which cannot be expressed within binary systems and even her art does not conform to being either narrative or documentary. Her work #Wildness explores the art, history and communities who gather at #SilverPlatter, a trans bar in #LosAngeles. Some of her other films have explored the lives of Chinese revolutionaries (#Duilian), Chicana culture (#YoureDeadToMe), a fictional post-colonial African city inspired by Île Saint-Louis, Senegal (#TiedAndTrue), and many of her other works are about communities of the other. She has also produced many performance and video installations in museums around the world, and in 2018 received a #MacArthurGeniusGrant. #PrideMonth #LGBTQIA #LGBTQIAPride #Pride #LegendsOfPride #YouCannotEraseUs
