A Little Bit About Myself
In 2007, I finally came to terms with the fact that I was undoubtedly a gay man. There was no back and forth with God about trying to turn me straight but rather a simple prayer, “God, whatever I am, please just make me happy,” and my prayer was answered and then some.
Being passionate about history, I began studying LGBTQ+ history with any book I could get my hands on. This eventually led to social media posts of figures I had learned about and in turn to this WordPress.
Representation matters and I hope that with this some may finally realize that the various LGBTQ+ movements we see in modern times have been going on for far longer than we were taught in school. LGBTQ+ history is human history and it shares the same age.
